Album of the week
Gish is the debut studio album by The Smashing Pumpkins. Frontman Billy Corgan has variously described Gish as a "very spiritual album" and "an album about spiritual ascension". Gish received positive reviews from critics, and was eventually certified platinum (one million copies shipped) by the RIAA. On April 1, 2019 Rolling Stone magazine ranked Gish the 32nd greatest grunge album of all time.
Song of the day
"Zero" is the third single from The Smashing Pumpkins's 1995 studio album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. It was the first song written for the album. It charted at #1 in two countries, and in the top 50 in seven countries.

- The Smashing Pumpkins officially announce their collaboration with Few Spirits for a SP-branded bourbon whiskey made from Madame ZuZu's Midnight Rose tea. The product had been available for some time but was not publicly advertised.
