The World Is A Vampire 2024 tour is the current summer 2024 edition of 2023's The World Is A Vampire tour from The Smashing Pumpkins. Dates for UK and Ireland were first announced on October 16, 2023 with Weezer as the opener.[1] On December 18, mainland European dates were announced with openers Interpol and Tom Morello, and the tour was rebranded as The World Is A Vampire.[2] It was the first Smashing Pumpkins tour since 2000's The Sacred and Profane tour to not feature guitarist Jeff Schroeder, who is replaced by Kiki Wong.

The tour is a long-awaited return to Europe, with the last being in 2019. Some shows saw particularly notable milestones, including the first ever show in Croatia (June 26), the first show in Greece in 26 years (July 17), and the first show in Ireland in 16 years (June 10).

On April 1, 2024 the band announced a new string of headlining shows in the United States and Canada to serve as another leg of the tour. They also have included their dates opening for Green Day on their Saviors tour as dates for this tour, in what is the first time since 1991's Blood Sugar Sex Magik that The Smashing Pumpkins toured in support of another band. Support on the American headline dates includes PVRIS and The Glorious Sons.[3]
