"Neophyte" is the third track from Act II of The Smashing Pumpkins' 2023 rock opera, ATUM. On the Thirty-Three podcast, Billy Corgan said the song is among his best work off of ATUM, and that it has the biggest potential of any ATUM song to "endure" as a long-term live favorite.[1]
