The Rock Invasion 2 tour is The Smashing Pumpkins' first proper tour since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. A tour sharing the same name was originally scheduled for spring 2020 in the United States, but had to be postponed for safety reasons. Only one of the originally booked cities (Greensboro, North Carolina) received a rescheduled show, albeit at a different venue.[1]
