BC: Thank you very much, thank you! It's so nice to be with you on this beautiful evening. I know you're excited to see us as, as you are for the Olympics.
Crowd: No!
Iha: Whoa, heh heh heh. Guess not!
BC: They don't like the Olympics, James.
Iha: I don't know about the politics of that, Olympics.
BC: James, do you like the Olympics?
Iha: Uhhh, yeah, I like running, jumping, all that, it seems pretty cool. I'm not particularly athletic myself but uh, I-I appreciate the uh, individual sport. (crowd cheers) I don't know. But I-I like Paris a lot, I think it's really beautiful, heh heh heh. I like those book stalls.
BC: (clapping twice) Speaking of books, heh heh heh....
Iha: Shakespeare and company.
BC: We'd like to take it back to 1992.
Iha: Ernest Hemingway.
BC: Does anyone remember 1992?
(crowd cheers)
Iha: I don't!
BC: They liked 1992 better than they liked the Olympics!
Iha: Oh my god.
BC: Like to take back [sic] to a song we wrote for the Siamese Dream album. Which won the gold medal...for sad albums.
Katie: Hahahahaha!
Iha: (laughing) Uh, uh, Proust is...very sad.
BC: (laughing) Your--your French is shit.
Iha: I-I took French in high school, but I was...
BC: Me too!
Iha: ...it -- alright. What else did you -- what else did you take? With all the basics?
