BC: I can’t do it.  But for those of you who kept the faith with us, thank you very much, thank you.  Thank you.  It’s taken a lot of work to put this tour together so I’d like to personally take this moment to say thank you Stephen, thank you Gabrial, thank you Kris, thank you Lisa, thank you Gingger.  And lastly, I’d like to say to these two people right here, lotta people said they couldn’t do it, lotta people said ''we'' could not do it.  Thank you Ginger, we love you, thank you Jeff, we love you.  It’s one thing, it’s one thing for me and my man back here to wanna make it happen but if we didn’t have people who would back us up and go into the foxhole with us, play the metal ''right'', lay it down ''right'' every night, we couldn’t do it so thank you guys, thank you, thank you.  You know a lot of people wondered why it took us so long to come back to Chicago, one of the reasons was we didn’t want to come back unless we were ready and now we’re ready, now we’re ready.  This wasn’t any fuckin’ reunion tour, okay?  This is obviously not a reunion tour, we’ve come back to rock, to make it happen, to be great again.  Unfortunately the world of music couldn’t be lamer right now but I think you know what I’m talking about.  So, heh, you know, the world might actually need us, even though it doesn’t know it.  So....  So god bless you, thank you very much for a great show, we’ve had a great time, thank you, thank you for coming back, thank you.

BC: Thank you very much, thank you. We’d now like to kick it down for some slow jams. Heh, I like how as soon as I say that, people sit down, that’s good, that’s good. I didn’t know I had that power. Like to kick it in in a slow jam off the Adory album. 1998. A song called Crestfallen.
Crestfallen
I of the Mourning
A Song for a Son
BC: Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen, thank you. You feelin’ alright, you feelin’ alright? You okay up there? Yeaah. Who was here at our showwww, the first show? Oh, okay. Then you already heard my story, never mind. I tell this story about how I sat up there when I was a kid, 14 years old, my first concert.
Guy in crowd: Asia!
BC: Asia, that’s right, heh heh. Heat of the Moment. Then I told a story about a angry engineer, right? Alright. No one cares, Jeff, that’s the problem. You know, Jeff, I know you’re younger than me...
Jeff: Just a little bit.
BC: ...you’re just a little younger than me. If it’s not YouTube-able, it doesn’t matter.

Jeff: Right, right.
BC: ...what song did they wanna hear? Not any of mine, heh.
Jeff: No, no, there was a [unintelligible word]...
BC: Landslide, that’s what they wanted to hear.
Jeff: ...that’s right, that's right.
BC: Not realizing the irony there.
Jeff: Well, what's the difference?
(Billy and Jeff laugh)
BC: I should be so lucky as to write a song as beautiful as this. So we hope you enjoy, this is Landslide. Actually, I changed my mind, I don’t wanna play that now. I never liked that song, it’s...it’s too hard to play anyway, right?
Jeff (off mic): Yeah, [unintelligible word].
BC: It’s just.... Heh. Alright, we’ll play the song, here we go.

[encore break]
That’s the Way (acoustic)
BC: (off mic) Thank you. (clapping into mic) ... (on mic) Thank you. Whoa, hey. Heh heh. No, no, nope. Not only is this the last night of this particular tour...yes, heh, yay, heh heh. Um, this is the end of the entire Zeitgeist time period for me and Jimmy, we started way back in November of ‘05, so this is a--this is a long journey for us. And uh...when we decided to put the band back together...(large cheer)...yes. A few people, limited in number, believed it wasn’t possible. That’s right. I know. Made me feel like Palin up in Alaska. Just cookin’ in the kitchen, waitin’ for my turn. Anyway, heh heh, sorry, I’m so obsessed with her. Um, heh, anyway, when it all started, me and my best friend here.... (large cheer) My number one partner in crime. He’s got the muscles. But you know we spent a lot of days out there in North Scottsdale wondering if anyone would accept us back and wondering how it was gonna go, it’s been a bumpy ride, it’s been good times, few bad times, right? The good news is we’re totally fuckin’ pissed off again. That’s the good news, that’s the good news, ‘cause when we’re angry, we make better music, I think. But I just wanted to say to the millions listening out at home, right?, heh heh heh. Just like Michael Buffer, “To the millions at home....” Probably get sued for that now. It’s copyrighted, d’you know that?
Jimmy: Don't do it.
And lastly, I’d like to say to these two people right here--lotta people said they couldn’t do it, lotta people said we could not do it. Thank you Ginger, we love you, thank you Jeff, we love you. It’s one thing, it’s one thing for me and my man back here to wanna make it happen, but if we didn’t have people who would back us up and go into the foxhole with us, play the metal right, lay it down right every night, we couldn’t do it, so thank you guys, thank you, thank you. Unfortunately the world of music couldn’t be lamer right now, but I think you know what I’m talking about. So, heh, you know, the world might actually need us, even though it doesn’t know it. So.... So god bless you, thank you very much for a great show, we’ve had a great time, thank you, thank you for coming back, thank you.
I Am One Pt. 2
> Taps (horns play over the very end)
(A coffin arrives onstage with pallbearers, a nun (possibly Lisa), and Jimmy Flemion dressed in the "sun god" outfit that Billy wore to open the Black Sunshine shows on this tour. Studio version of "Christmastime" plays while the above and band members hand out treats from the coffin.)
[bow]
BC: Hello? Howdy. Have a great Christmas and New Year, thank you--actually, have a great Christmas and an even better year. So we'll see you in a little while, okay, thank you.
