Violet Rays
BC: Thank you so much. Who was here last night? (crowd cheers)
Guy in crowd: Minnesota!
BC: Minnesota? Was that Chris Cornell then?
Lady in crowd: You’re a lot better!
BC: Heh heh heh heh heh heh. Was that “I’m looking California, I’m feeling Minnesota”? I’ve never felt Illinois-an, I can tell you that. [unintelligible]. Last night I was talking...of what not to do, but I was talking about how we have a jukebox in our kitchen, home in Chicago. And uh, it’s a 1953 jukebox, so all the songs in it are all old country and...and uh, it’s pretty cool ‘cause my son, now that’s what he wants to hear, you know? So I’m program - programming well.
Lady in crowd: R&B, I hope.
BC: (makes a “no” noise). Country and western. So um, like to play a song for you now - actually, a few covers. It’s covers to [1-3 unintelligible words], guess you know what that means? Covers from an [unintelligible word] song. And uh, heh heh.... [cuts]

Nights in White Satin
BC: I appreciate you, I really do, thanks again. ... Thought somebody got hurt.
Lady in crowd: First [unintelligible] years!
BC: I’ve been to a hundred baseball games and I never caught a baseball. The guy I was in my first...sort of new wave band with, a gentleman called Greg Bates, he lived across from Wrigley Field. House got torn down but if you go to Wrigley Field and you look right down the left foul pole, just in the house that was inside was his house. And so I’d go over there and we’d write our new wave songs when I was about 18 years old, circa 1985, and I know most of you were born after that, but...I know you don’t remember those times, but I do. So, we’d be over there working on our new wave songs and the Cubs game would be going on across the street, so every time you [2-3 unintelligible words], (imitating crowd noise) “aaaah,” you know, right through the window. “But gee, I’ve never - have you ever caught a baseball?” It was like a dream of mine to go to a game with a glove and never.... He goes, “Oh yeah, come here.” He takes me in his basement, he goes whoof, there’s like 20 baseballs. ‘Cause he’d sit out there and catch batting practice. And uh, I go, “Oh, can I have one?” and he goes, “No.” Needless to say, the band broke up.
Spaceboy
BC: Thank you so much. We’ve reached the end of this road. (crowd disapproves) Yeah, yeah.
Lady in crowd: No!
BC: Okay, [2 unintelligible words]. [2 unintelligible words], yeah. I mean, this state has no laws anymore, I mean let’s just do what you wanna do. In Illinois, we have laws.
