(BC after Iha intro: Right about now, right about now we’re gonna take it down for about a second. Let you growl around in your sweaty pit of misery. As we grovel around in our mental pit of misery. Take you way back, take you way back. Yes. How you doin’ out there, you alright? Don’t make me speak Italian. Can you feel the rock power, can you feel the rock power? This girl right here, she feels the rock power, that’s right. That’s right.)

> Tonight, Tonight
BC: Thank you very much, thank you very much. Wooooo. It’s very cold, it’s very cold. We’d now like to play you our - our latest...and lastest single. This is a little existential ode that we lovingly like to refer to as Try...Try...Try...Try...Try.

Iha: Grazie. How is everybody? Is everybody feeling very cold and zen-like? Very [unintelligible]? It’s very hot and we’d like to thank everybody for staying through the heat, we appreciate your survival technique. I think we’ve all lost many pounds of weight or kilograms of weight. Okay, I’d like to do a quick introduction of the rock band. On the piano, Mr. Miiiike Garson.
Smoke on the Water (tease - Billy quietly plays first few notes over Iha’s next sentence)
Iha: Hell of a guy, hell of a guy, heh heh. All the way from Chicago, on the synthesizer, Mr. Chris Holmes. Yeah. All the way from Montreal, Canada, on the bass, Ms. Melissa Auf der Maur. (Billy is strumming chords of a Rush song) Yes, Canada, Rush. Play that fuckin’ Rush song on the acoustic! On the drums, Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin. Jimmy is playing the shit out of those drums tonight. On the acoustic riffage, vocals and guitar, Mr. Billlly Corgan.
Summertime (tease)
Iha: (high pitched) Oh yeah! Hell yeah!
BC: And on the lead guitar, Mr. James Iha.
Iha: Grazie.
BC: The lead guitar and I do mean leads only.
Iha: Leads, many leads.
BC: I’m not sure you even know how to play rhythm anymore, just leads.
Iha: I played one too many notes, I guess.
BC: Yeah, heh heh. Heh heh heh.
Iha: Just during that one part. (Billy is cracking up) And she gets very upset about it and so [unintelligible] her guitar.
BC: Thank you, yes. Before we um, we play our very last song at our very last concert in dear old Italy.... Yes. We’d like to say thank you to all of our Italian fans for 10 great, amazing years.
Iha: Grazie, grazie, grazie.
BC: I think I speak uh, I think I speak for the entire band when we say that Italy is absolutely one of the greatest countries in the world. We’re - we’ve decided to break up the band except in Italy.
Iha: We’ll also be starting a shoe line.
BC: Heh heh. So thank you, god bless you, arrivederci.
1979 (acoustic, Jimmy plays guitar)
Iha: Thank you, thank you very much.
