Stand Inside Your Love
Pinwheels
Lily
BC: Thank you very much. We’ve reached the end of this journey. (crowd disapproves) It’s true. I can only tell the truth. Heh heh heh heh heh. So before we run away, like to introduce the band to you and a special guest. On the drums, Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin. Jimmy Chamberlin. On the guitar, the Shredder, Mr. Jeff Schroeder. Jeff Schroeder. On my far right, your left, the master of the Rhodes, heh heh, Ms. Sierra Swan. Joining us tonight as an official member of the Smashing Pumpkins, Mr. Jack Bates. Part of our family. Family men. And uh, taking us into this number, it’s a song I wrote with Ms. Courtney Love for the Celebrity Skin album by Hole. I was there...and so was she. Ms. Katie Cole.
Malibu (with Jack Bates)

[encore break]
Angie (abandoned after one chord)
BC: Wrong key. (plays one chord) Right? Yeah, second try, (sarcastic) sorry. Didn’t think I was gonna fire somebody tonight.
Angie (abandoned before lyrics)
BC: Whoa. Gee, I don’t know what to do, should I break my guitar? See, 20 years ago, I would’ve lost my mind. But now I’m a father and a responsible U.S. citizen. I’m just gonna hand them this guitar and tune it and I’m gonna talk to you because...it’s just so brutal. (guitar tech collects guitar) That’s the young man, Jeremy, who’s gonna get fired. Nah, I don’t wanna fire him, he’s a nice guy. I’m gonna fire you (pointing at crowd). Did you enjoy the show? Woo! New York is the best, you know it. You know, being from Chicago, it’s not...(a few cheers) - there’s five people here from Chicago. Jeff, you’re from Los Angeles - woo! It’s not that we argue with the idea that New York is the best, it’s the best. The best. I used to live here, amazing city. I didn’t move away for city reasons. What irritates us is you guys know it’s the best and you walk around like “We’re the best.” You’re the best. Now Jeff, be honest: where’s the best bagel in America? He said where I live in Chicago, Highland Park, heh heh heh. (Billy gets his re-tuned guitar and puts it on) Some girl just yelled “Do mushrooms.” Okay, after the show.
Angie
BC: Thank you very much, New York City, thank you, thank you, thank you.
