The Summer 1997 Bugg Studios sessions were for James Iha's first solo album, Let It Come Down.
“ | After the Pumpkins did a European tour, I had half an album's worth of older songs that didn't make it to the final cut of the Pumpkins records. So I decided to write some more stuff and do my own record, with my singing and production the way I heard it in my head. It was a very enjoyable experience. | ” |

Equipment[edit | edit source]
Iha used a wide range of guitars on Let It Come Down, including 12-string acoustics, clean electric guitars, cellos, violin and an organ. The acoustic guitars included a Gibson J-100 Hummingbird and a "really good" Martin.[1] Iha's Danelectro guitar was used for a lot of overdubs, and as the slide guitar on "Lover, Lover".[2] The amplifiers were either Fender or Vox.
Producer Jim Scott used a small Neve boaard and a Studer 24-track.[2] Bugg Studios (Iha's home studio) had two drum kits: a 60's kit that Scott and Iha had, and a Yamaha kit.[1]
