The Late 1988 Reel Time sessions were the first of many recordings with Mark Ignoffo in his basement studio, as the sessions were described as an "on-going project." "Sun" and "My Dahlia" were recorded and put on the Light Into Dark compilation. This recording of "Sun" was later remixed by Quentin Sanbria and put on the first self-titled demo tape.
