The 1989 Solid Sound Studios session is where "Jackie Blue" was recorded. According to James Iha, the only previous material issued "before we got our feet on the ground" are the two tracks on a Chicago compilation Light Into Dark (Halo records 1989). "A better compilation on the Pravda label came out in 1991" he adds, "and that has us doing a cover of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils' 'Jackie Blue'. I don't even know if you can find one in the UK!"[1]
