Iha: How’s it goin’? Thank you, thank you for coming to the show tonight or to the park where, uh, we’re very excited to play this legendary park. And it’s--it’s crazy playing here, I have to say. I’ve never seen a roller coaster this close to a rock show. I guess that would be the ultimate high, being on a roller coaster and rockin’ out to the Smashing Pumpkins. The ultimate high would be eating fish and chips and listening to the Smashing Pump--the ultimate, heh.... Thank you though, thank you.

Iha: Tack [unknown Swedish word], thank you. Thank you guys so much, you guys are awesome. Who knew playing an amusement park would be so fun? This is the second show of our European tour and we’re uh, we’re very happy to be in Europe. And uh, I’d like to introduce the band real quick. On keys, acoustic guitar, vocals, all the way from Australia, Katie Cole. Katie Cole. She’s a very nice girl. And now, all the way from Manchester, England...(crowd reacts)...whoa. I heard an angry voice. I just made that up. All the way from Manchester, England, on the bass, Mr. Jack Bates.
Digital (tease - Jack)
Iha: Yes. (high pitched) Alright! (normal) Heh heh heh heh. Who wants to hear Kiss?! Gimme your best. You want the best, you got the best, gimme your hot riff, Jeff.

Iha: Come on! Mr. Jeff Schroeder. All the way from Los Angeles, California. Currently residing in the Midwest. And now, on the drums, you know him, you love him, Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin. Jimmy and I will be riding that crazy thing later. We made a bet. I just made that up, alright. I am James Iha, thank you so much.
Cold Gin (tease - Iha)
Iha: Lead vocals, hot guitar, all the way from Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Billllllly Corgan!
Cherub Rock
[encore break]
BC: Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen, thank you. Like to tell you how much we appreciate you being here. 31 years ago, we started this band. There’s been some ups (Jimmy snare hit), there’s been some downs (Jimmy kick drum hit), there’s been some ups (Jimmy hits drum rim a couple times). Yeah. And you’re part of the up, so thank you so much. To our old school fans, we love you, thank you so much for stickin’ with us. You know who you are. And to the young faces we see in the crowd, we’re so appreciative you’ve given us this opportunity. One of the crazy things that we never could’ve imagined starting 31 years ago was all the people that we’d lose along the way. So oftentimes when we’re playing, we’re not just representing ourselves, we’re representing our generation and those we’ve lost and those who have won. And so, keep their memory alive too, you know, we want you to appreciate everybody. It’s a craaazy time.
Iha: I agree.
BC: Thank you. So we dedicate this last song to you, to them...to our ancestors. Oh yeah! Hahahaha. Should I play or should I keep going?
Iha: I--we got time, heh heh.
BC: We got time?
Iha: No, well....
BC: I--I met the guy who owns this place, he said “Play all night long.”
Iha: Hahahaha.
BC: At least...that’s what I thought he said. It was in Swedish.
Iha: That was two hours ago though.
BC: Last night, in a shocking reveal....
Iha: You talking about Game of Thrones?
BC: Like something on Maury. Heh heh heh. I was talking about my DNA test. Does everyone know what a DNA test is?
Iha: Of course they do, they’re a civilized country. Sorry.
BC: A thousand years ago, they weren’t so fuckin’ civilized here. They were kickin’ some fuckin’ ass back....
Iha: I wasn’t--I wasn’t here.
BC: That’s how they’re still here. Anyway, I got my DNA test results, I am one point eight percent Scandinavian.
Iha: Ah ha! Ah--ah ha.
BC: James, would you like to reveal your Scandinavian DNA?
Iha: IIIII - I can’t. I don’t know if I have any but I like Sweden a lot. Helluva country, heh heh heh.
BC: Now, as a last remark, and I swear this is the end....
Iha: Yes, heh heh heh. We got one more song so let’s speed it up here.
BC: I know you wanna get up there. Um, let’s say that we were in Norway last night.
Iha: Yes?
BC: Oslo.
Iha: Hahaha.
(crowd boos)
BC: They talked nice about you.
Iha: I--I don’t think so. Heh heh.
BC: And in speaking to Norwegians about their culture, James said something about their shoes.
Iha: Did I?
BC: Yes.
Iha: I don’t remember.
BC: You kinda...insinuated there was something wrong with their shoes.
Iha: I might’ve, I don’t know.
BC: And this is a true story, I’m not making this up, last night the Prince of Norway, the Crown Prince of Norway was at our show. And after the show, he said, “What was the thing about the shoes?”
Iha: (laughing) I don’t know.
BC: Would you like to publicly recant?
Iha: Yes, I take back whatever I said about Norwegian, Scandinavian shoes, I, I, they’re fine. Uh, fine footwear.
BC: Alright! Thank you so much, hope you had a good time!
Iha: I’m just gonna talk, just gonna talk, fuck around all night.
Siva
Iha: Hey hey. Thanks so much! Thank you. Tack, tack.
