Rock On
(BC during quiet part before outro: Long live rock and roll, long live rock and roll, long live rock and roll, long live rock and roll. You gotta get it while you can, you gotta get your rock and roll while you can. Don’t wait to get your rock and roll! You gotta get it while you can.)
BC: Good evening, good evening, good evening.
Iha: Hello, hello, hello.
BC: It’s nice to see everybody so soon again, thank you very much for coming. How’s everybody feel tonight? It’s alright? I’d like to, uh, many people may not know this, but he’s actually from Texas, Mr. James Iha.
Blew Away
Stand Inside Your Love
Snail
I of the Mourning
Le Deux Machina (tape)
To Sheila (Billy acoustic w/Iha)
BC: Thank you, thank you.
This Time (abandoned after a few seconds)
BC: I’ll start again, thank you.
This Time (Billy solo acoustic)
BC: Thank you, thank you. Hey, can I ask you a question? Woo. This isn’t one of those bullshit concert questions, this is a real question. Um, I’ve been here for two days and uh...I’m sorry, somebody else wants to talk. Okay. Um, I’ve been here for a couple of days driving around and uh, usually when we’re in a town for a couple of days, I’ll hear on the radio. I didn’t really hear us on the radio, are they playing us on the radio here? Okay, wait. Those who say that you’re hearing us on the radio, please say yes. Those who say that you’re not hearing on the radio, please say no. That’s what I thought. Well....
Iha: Marketing research says....
BC: Well, that’s cool, um...thank you. I just, uh, I just encourage everybody to, uh, if we’re not on the radio, you gotta call ‘em up and complain and say play ‘em on the damn radio. Because we’re rich rock stars and we need more money.
1979 (acoustic, Jimmy plays guitar)
Suffer (tease, acoustic)
> Try, Try, Try (acoustic)
Zero

> Once in a Lifetime
you might ask yourself
what if i am living in someone else’s dream?
you might ask yourself
is this planet on the bottom of somebody’s aquarium?
you might ask yourself
if this is a dream, would someone please wake me up?
you might ask yourself
because long ago, i said i give up
into the blue again
water flowing underground
letting the days go by
water flowing underground
you might ask yourself
just who is that guy on stage?
you might ask yourself
what does he want from me and my life?
you might ask yourself
this is not my rock and roll, these are not my words
you might ask yourself
just what am i hurtling toward?
into the blue again
water flowing underground
letting the days go by
water flowing underground
what?!
what the fuck?!
what the fuck?
time now love and a beat, time everything, time how in the meeting, insurmountable, irremoral [sic], in memorial, whatever
(screams)
what?!
go!
ow!!
i’ve lost the blood, i’ve lost the meaning
going backwards, i have no feeling
why must this be a [1-2 unintelligible words] right up to the [unintelligible word] unknown?
why must i stand...or as a petal falls?
(screams 4x)
ow!
whoa!
what the fuck?!
i have been alive
i am losing all the time
[1-2 unintelligible words], all the time, all the time, swimming in a pirate’s nest, lost inside
BC: Rail rail rhyme rhyme. Real! God bless you, thank you. God bless you, thank you.
Iha: Thank you, thank you. [unintelligible mumbling].
BC: We love you, we love you, we love you, we love you. You are loved, yes. Now please help me finish the song. From the bottom of your rusty stomach, I want you to scream with me, it feels very good, I promise. Are you ready? Are you too tired? Are you ready? All together, ready? (screams and band goes back into song)
ow!
(growls)
that's right!

> Cherub Rock
Iha: Thanks. Thanks a lot. You guys are great. Thank you.
[encore break]
Iha: Thank you very much. Thanks.
BC: We salute you, Texas.
Iha: [unintelligible]. I’m extremely and I - it must be worse being in the mosh pit out there - but what, uh, we appreciate your enthusiasm [unintelligible].
BC: Yes. Hello, is there anybody out there? Hello! I just want to - to say thank you because we’ve been, we’ve been playing, uh, for almost 13 years now and uh...thank god it won’t be 13 more, but um, heh heh heh. Yes, yes. Uh, heh heh heh. Anyway, I just wanted to say that you reach a point where, you know, we feel we can come out and do a good show even if it was a bunch of dead people, but the real - the real difference is when we get a lot of energy from everybody, it brings out the best in us. And our band - our band since 1990 has always been about everybody that comes to see us. We owe you - we owe you the world, we owe you everything and we can’t thank you enough for your support and uh...everything, thank you.
