BC: Thanks, heh heh. Tonight's the first show of our American tour. Usually when we do an album, we play in America first, which - so if I say that it’s the first show of our American tour, usually then it means that we're gonna suck because we haven't been rehearsing, but we've been on tour for two months, so.... What we're - what we’re trying to do in America is basically play all of our new record, Adore. And so this is the first time we're going to do this song called Annie-Dog and as you see, I have the booklet because I don't know the words, so...feel free to sing along.
Annie-Dog
Girl in crowd: I love you, James!!
BC: James doesn't talk anymore.
Perfect (acoustic)
BC: We'd now like to play an old song for you. We'd like to dedicate this song to all of you for coming to our concert tonight. For being supportive of us and appreciating what we're trying to do, thank you very much.

[encore break]
BC: Hel-lo! (to boy on stage) Want to sing?
Boy: What?
BC: Want to sing?
Boy: No, thank you.
BC: We'd like to take a moment to present the check tonight to the...East Bay Children's Agency. Did I say that right? East Bay Agency for Children. We'd like to thank you very much. This is a local organization on the other side of the bay. And tonight with your help, we've managed to raise $170,590, so thank you. D'arcy will now present the check.
D’arcy: We're giving this check to Travis, it’s really just for Travis. Travis, don't spend it all in one place.
Boy: I'd like to thank you, I’d like to thank you on behalf of the East Bay Agency for Children. Thank you.
Lady from charity: And I too would like to say thank you to the Smashing Pumpkins and to all of you for supporting us, yes. And did you know that it is Smashing Pumpkins Day here? I have Kelly Castinero from Mayor Willie Brown's office to issue a special proclaimation today. Kelly?
Kelly Castinero: Hi, my name's Kelly, I'm here tonight on behalf of Willie Brown to present a proclamation. (crowd boos)
D’arcy: It's for a good cause, don't boo. It's not nice.
Kelly Castinero: Okay, I'll just read part of it. “Therefore be it resolved that I, Willie L. Brown, Jr., mayor of the city and county of San Francisco, in honor of the Smashing Pumpkins...outstanding contributions to the well being of our community, do hereby proclaim June 30th, 1998 as the Smashing Pumpkins Day!” (large crowd cheer)
BC: Of course...(Mike plays over him)...hold, hold on! I'm talking, I'm talking!
D’arcy: Hey, you were all booing a second ago! What's this? What is this?
BC: You're going to stay after school tomorrow. You know what this means though. It means that you have to pay us all your taxes and we now have keys to all your houses.
Iha: And now -
BC: Thank you, thank you.
Iha: And now, are you ready to dance? Alright! Let’s dance.
BC: James, wait a second. I'm gonna have to correct you here for a moment.
Iha: Not dance?
BC: James, it's 1998. We're not about that anymore.
Iha: Oh, okay. Now we’re not gonna dance.
BC: It's not 1995 or 1996, it's 1998, you've moved on.
D’arcy: Yeah, but yeah, but maybe they are.
BC: We have new comedy bits.
D’arcy: Maybe they want to dance. We don’t have to dance.
Iha: You ever think about that?
D’arcy: But maybe they want to dance. Do you want to dance?
Iha: You ever think of that, Mr. Sad Song?
D’arcy: Think.
Iha: Alright, let's dance one last time.
