Lyrics[edit | edit source]

Adapted from the August 11, 2020 performance.

tallulah lu
of lavender and blue
your pachyderm waits in the rain

hey butterfly
how you'll pry and you'll pry
but fail to roust isis

i'm out there
i'm out there
so follow this watch as it winds
i'm out there
i'm out there
so you won't pass me by
it's back to you baby

a faded love ain't for me
a jaded love won't catch me
'cause I'm the one for you, woo woo woo
baby

trumpets blow
so sweet and low
that they moan
get your kicks while you still can

for sunday's best
when put to bed so happy
may your spirit find its wings
one fine day

i'm out there
i'm out there
so follow this watch as it winds
back to you baby

a faded love ain't for me
a jaded love won't catch me
'cause i'm the one for you, woo woo woo
baby

so follow my watch as I wind
so follow my watch as I wind
back to you baby
back to you baby
