Iha: Thank you so much. How you guys doin’? It’s a hot night in Cincinnati. It’s too hot. No? It’s gotta get hotter? Uh, thank you so much though, uh, for staying with us through the humidity, we appreciate it.
BC: Isn’t there that rule that after Labor Day, you’re not supposed to wear white?
Iha: You know, I-I guess you’re right, I guess you’re right.
BC: You know, this guy over here and I have done a lot of things together over the course of 36 years.
Iha: 36 frickin’ years.
BC: We’ve laughed, we’ve cried. We’ve hit the highest heights and the lowest lows.
Iha: Yes.
BC: But what we haven’t done....
Iha: What?
BC: You didn’t know this, way back in the day, ‘87, ‘88, that one day you’d play SeaWorld.
Iha: It –- it does feel like we’re...
BC: You’re playing SeaWorld.
Iha: ...we’re swimming through a...a pool of humidity.
BC: These people don’t want my jokes, I understand.
Iha: No. Alright, I gotta joke for ‘em.
BC: They want the hits. They want the hits, it’s a cruel business.
Iha: Yes.
BC: Luckily, we’ve got hits. Gordon Lightfoot, he had hits.
Iha: Sure!
BC: Now, god bless him, he’s gone.
Iha: We’re not gonna play the uh...Edmund Fitzgerald.
BC: Smash Mouth, Smash Mouth, they had hits and now...
Iha: God bless him.
BC: ...that poor guy’s gone. So god bless all who’ve come before, we’re so proud to be with you, to play our music, thank you so much. So we dedicate this song to everybody here, we appreciate all the years that fans from this area have been comin’ to see us, way back when. Of course, we don’t remember those times but we hope you do. Do you remember those times?
Iha: I do not, I do not.
BC: Heh heh heh. It’s ‘cause you wore white after Labor Day, it just.... Anyway, dedicate this song to everybody here here at SeaWorld. It’s a little song we wrote back in 1994. Was a good year. The grunge. Hahahahahahaha! Hahaha.
Iha: We’re just gonna...thank you very much, we’re done. It’s been a hell of a night. Now we’re gonna start uh, we’re gonna start freestyling. Whatever you guys wanna talk about.
BC: It’s a little song from Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.
Iha: Alright alright, let’s do that one.
BC: You mighta heard of it. And uh, it’s a little song we like to call Tonight, Tonight.
