alt lyrics:
[...] and so beats the final coda
of our vinyl storm
just one more cherry cola
to lift up those dead arms
she dreams of soft focus sunsets
that filter through her din
and we are losing contact
as she dials it in
she can hear glass calling
hello, is anyone home, hello
she can hear
someone just like him
she eyes tv reflection
and nods a knowing look
she says it doesn’t matter
you know, i never liked my looks, no
‘cause i have seen a thousand fractures
yes, i have seen most everything
‘cause knowing is its own answer
love something in your books
there’s not much left to ponder
there’s not much left to cook
and it was so beautiful
it was so beautiful
everywhere they walked, they saw
what it was to be alive
she was his poetry
and his motion...his emotion in motion
she was his everything
yes
as she counted the spiders
as they crawled up inside her...

Glass' Theme
The Everlasting Gaze

> Cash Car Star
Rock On (partial)
(BC after Iha intro: Right about now, right about now, in the death throes of our own personal revolution, we'd like to take you way down, way down, cool you off for a second, let you catch your breath. Haha. That's right. ... Are you ready? I said are you ready? Are you ready!? Are you ready? Yes.)
> Heavy Metal Machine
Disarm (acoustic)
> Tonight, Tonight
BC: Thank you very much, thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you very much.
Iha: Grazie.
BC: Thank you very much for coming to our concert tonight. We, uh, we know you're all supposed to be drunk at Oktoberfest...right? Heh heh. Heh heh. No?
Iha: Maybe not.
BC: Oktoberfest? I don't know.
Iha: They don't care.
BC: James will be downtown later at Oktoberfest wearing lederhosen.
Iha: Uh. Yes. I like sauerbraten. I had that the other night, I went to some beer hall, a traditional German beer hall and uh, many glasses of beer and sauerbraten, that was good. It was a colloquial local story.
BC: Yes. We'd now like to play for you, um, our um, probably our last single, maybe not, you never know. This is a song called Try, Try, Try, Try, Try.
Try, Try, Try
> Porcelina of the Vast Oceans
I of the Mourning
This Time
[encore break]
Blank Page
(BC after lyrics finish: Thank you. Thank you.)
Cherub Rock
Iha: Thank you, thank you.
[encore break]
Iha: Thank you. How is everybody? Is everybody in the house? I'd like to make a quick introduction of the band. On the piano, all the way from Spain, Mr. Mike Garson! He's also quite a fisherman if you hadn't known. On Mellotron, keyboards, synthesizers, Mr. Chris Holmes! From Chicago, he's crazy. The woman in red, Miss Melissa Auf der Maur! Auf der Mauer Auf der Lauer, Auf der Mauer Auf der Lauer.
BC: When you said the woman in red, I thought you're talking about yourself. Ho ho ho, oh, Gayrod.
Iha: I don't wanna talk about that right now. On the drums and acoustic guitar, Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin! How do you like that acoustic guitar instead of drums, Jimmy?
Jimmy: It's way easier.
Iha: You heard it here, the acoustic guitar much easier than drums. On vocals and guitar, Mr. Billy Corgan. And I am, on laser gun, James. Thank you.
1979 (acoustic, Jimmy plays guitar)
[bow - Billy leaves stage and comes back with towel on head]
BC: Oh! We forgot to say thank you to everyone for ten amazing years, thank you, Pumpkins fans, thank you.
