BC: Thank you very much. Hello to everybody, how are you all doin’?
Iha: Hello.
BC: Thank you very much for having us back here.
Iha: Ooh.
BC: Say something witty.
Iha: Uh...you people crazy.
BC: Wait a second. He says that same shit every night, so don’t fall for that, he’s gotta come up with something better than that.
Iha: I may say that you’re a rather lascivious crowd, perhaps didactic, allegorical, yes. Um...I like to eat toast in the morning. Okay, let’s continue on with the concert.
Today
> Planet of the Apes clip
> Thru the Eyes of Ruby
Siva
Iha: Thanks everybody.
BC: Appreciate it.
Iha: Alright, how is everybody? [unintelligible because of crowd screaming]

Circus tape
> Bullet with Butterfly Wings
Cherub Rock
Porcelina of the Vast Oceans / Rocket

Iha: Thank you very much. Have you people had enough alternative rock shoved down your throat? No? Go home, [3-4 unintelligible words].
In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (tease)
Iha: [unintelligible]. Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Alright! People of Albany, I want some fuckin’ [unintelligible word], people! Come on! Alright! This isn’t a tea party, this is a goddamn rock and roll concert! Come on!! Don’t just sit there! (Matt solo starts) Oh my god, a drum solo. Makin’ the groooove, yeah. (Matt solo ends) Ohh yeah. So...havin’ a good time, fun, reasonable kind of good time? [unintelligible] and uh, we’re playing--
BC: Wait a second, wait a second. (band stops playing)
Iha: What, what, what?!
BC: What the fuck’s the deal with those people up there, man?
Iha: Oh my god. [unintelligible].
BC: You people have been sitting up there all cozy and warm like, what the fuck’s up up there, huh?
Iha: It doesn’t sound right up there, it’s disappointing.
BC: Just because you’re up in those fuckin’ nosebleed seats doesn’t mean we don’t fuckin’ care.
Iha: [unintelligible]. (Billy starts the song again) So we’ll just get back into the Garden of Eden and uh, keep playing for you people and uh, I apologize for screaming at you, I lost my mind temporarily and I won’t scream at you again, I will simply play the guitar for you, melodious music...(Billy starts soloing)...oh my god! Yeah! We’re from Chicago! You got the motherfuckin’ blues! Ahhh!!! Eric Clapton ain’t got nothin’ on me! [2-3 unintelligible words], yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. (Billy solo ends) Uh, another freakout. [unintelligible], I just had to let out my big [unintelligible], maybe stupid [unintelligible]. Makin’ it funky. (tease ends) So let’s rock.
> X.Y.U.
> Communication Breakdown (tease)
[encore break]
Iha: Thank you. You’re a very nice crowd...but you are crazy. Alright, now, ladies and gentlemen, we have a special guest dragon drag queen, uh, all the way from Milwaukee, of the Frogs, Jimmy Frog! Jimmy Frog, everybody. Let’s have a nice round of applause for Jimmy Frog, alright, now...on the keyboards, his brother, of the Frogs, Dennis Frog! Dennis. Dennis the fucking Menace, a nice round of courteous applause. The people appear to be very nice--so! All for Dennis. On the drums, all the way from Winnetka, Matt “Cosmo” Walker! Ow! And now, ladies and gentlemen, it’s that time of evening...yes, audience participation! I know what you’re thinking, what is everybody in the audience doing? Well, you’re not gonna play one of my guitars and you’re not gonna sing a song, but we’re gonna ask two to three people to dance with us! Yes, that’s right, dance. So Jim--quiet, there’s two or three people. (Matt starts a house beat) Aw yeah, put it up! Put it up, people. Let me see those hands in the air like you dooooon’t care. Let’s jump for joy, people, as Jimmy Frog will pick our dancers, come onnnn!!! Jump for joy, people, come on, Jimmy, pick our dancers! Who shall dance this evening, who shall they be? No one knows, maybe Jimmy Frog, of course. I don’t expect the haters. Alright, we have one psycho fan on stage. (Matt slows down the beat) Alright. Don’t [3 unintelligible words] too quickly, my friend. Alright. Maybe you’re [2 unintelligible words] to this, I see. Dancer number two! (Matt stops, although Dennis keeps playing) And we have our final people. How many dancers did you pick? Three, three, just three?
Jimmy Frog: All of them. (Dennis Frog stops playing)
Iha: Oh, more of them are coming up.
BC: Oh well, it’s time to meet our dancers. Please tell us who you are and where you’re from.
Girl #1: I’m Allison and I’m from Long Island.
BC: Long Island, is that even part of New York State?
Guy #1: I’m Thirden from Burke Hills! (big crowd cheer)
Iha: What?
BC: Who are you and where are you from? Who the fuck are you and where the fuck are you from?
Girl #2: I’m [unintelligible name]!
Girl #3: [unintelligible name] from [unintelligible town name]. (huge crowd cheer)
Iha: Golf? Alright, well, [unintelligible as Billy talks over him].
BC: As you see.... Alright, dancers, as you can see, there are many jealous people out there who wish they were standing right here. Save yourself the fate of humiliation by dancing well. We have two rules...
Iha: Two rules for dancing.
BC: ...to our dancers. Don’t touch us and don’t touch our shit.
Iha: You got the point across and uh, we encourage all of you out there who cannot be on stage to perhaps dance in your mind if you can...to the Macarena, NFI, whatever you want to do. Let’s dance [1-2 unintelligible words].
1979 (with Jimmy Flemion)
Iha: Thank you for the [unintelligible word] dancers, it’s been perhaps uh, fine dancers.
BC: So um, like to take this last moment to thank you, thank you very much for coming. Thank you very much for being real cool. I have to apologize a little bit, um, D’arcy and I have been sick, so normally we play for about another...hour or so, but....
Iha: Well, we could’ve said something earlier but both of them have the Ebola virus and we hope you get it.
BC: Anyway, so, a little sorry we had to cut the show a little shorter than we normally would, but--don’t boo, please. It’s--I mean, we coulda canceled the show, we didn’t cancel the show though, so we tried our best, we hope you had a good time. We’d like to play one last song for you and uh, thanks again very much for being a super cool, awesome, wonderful audience, whatever it is, thank you.
Iha: Thanks, that’s it.
Silverfuck / We Gotta Get Out of This Place / Tonight, Tonight
(BC at 19:48: So thanks again. See you on the other side. Say goodbye to those leaving early, [unintelligible]. We are, have been and will always be the Smashing Pumpkins.)
