On October 20, 2023, Billy Corgan made a surprise appearance at the Sammy Hagar and the Circle show to jam on Van Halen's 1978 hit "Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love". Hagar said of the night, "What a surprise to meet/jam with Billy Corgan last night. One talented dude brought even more fun than we were already having. Great night in Hammond, Indiana."[1]
In addition to the tease during the show, Corgan and drummer Jason Bonham were jamming to "Cherub Rock" backstage, either before or after the show.[2]
