On October 20, 2023, Billy Corgan made a surprise appearance at the Sammy Hagar and the Circle show to jam on Van Halen's 1978 hit "Ain't Talkin' 'bout Love". Hagar said of the night, "What a surprise to meet/jam with Billy Corgan last night. One talented dude brought even more fun than we were already having. Great night in Hammond, Indiana."

In addition to the tease during the show, Corgan and drummer Jason Bonham were jamming to "Cherub Rock" backstage, either before or after the show.
