December 1, 2020 was The Smashing Pumpkins third appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and the band's only performance (albeit remotely) in 2020. The band played just "Cyr" as a pre-recorded video. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, band members performed their parts independently around the country. The videos were edited together by creative director Linda Strawberry into what is almost a music video of a live performance, giving the first taste of what "Cyr" would sound like in a live setting with the full band.[1]
