BC: Ladies and gentlemen, good evening to all of you.
Iha: Hello, hello, hello.
BC: A couple of things, a couple of things we’d like to interject at this particular moment. Actually, three things. Number one: thank you very much for having us back here. Glad you're--
Iha: Aloha, thanks, thanks a lot.
BC: Occasionally I have these moments where it feels like, uh, 1991 all over again and I see people getting crushed and smushed.
Iha: [unintelligible].
BC: I know that you want to be crushed and smushed but sometimes the crushing is too much smushing and the smushing is too much crushing...
Iha: Too much smushing.
BC: ...so if everyone can just take a step back and relax, it’s a long concert, we play a lot of time.
Iha: Relax, everyone, relax.
BC: And third of all, I’d like to introduce my friend, my partner, Mr. James Iha.
Blew Away
Stand Inside Your Love
Blue Skies Bring Tears
I of the Mourning
Le Deux Machina (tape)
To Sheila (Billy acoustic w/Iha)
Disarm (acoustic)
BC: Thank you very much. Uh...I’d like to introduce this feller to my right, Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin. Thanks, pal. Thanks, pal. How’s everybody doing, everybody alright?
Iha: Wooooo! Woo! Hello!
BC: We’d like to play another song from our, uh, our new album, uh, Baby Hit Me One More Time. This is called The Ballad of Christina Aguilera.
Try, Try, Try (acoustic)
Rock On / And the Cradle Will Rock... / Everybody Wants Some!!
> Zero
Today
Tear
BC: Thank you very much.
With Every Light (acoustic)
> Bullet with Butterfly Wings
> Once in a Lifetime
you might ask yourself
what do i feel if i have no feelings?
you might ask yourself
what does this song mean if it has no meaning, huh?
you might ask yourself
why must i cry tears of milk?
you might ask yourself
is my worth my wealth or my wealth my worth?

into the blue again
water flowing underground
letting the days go by
water flowing underground

you might ask yourself
who is that motherfucking guy on stage?
you might ask yourself
what does he know about me and my life? what?!
you might ask yourself
just what was the boston tea party for?
you might ask yourself
were all [1-2 unintelligible words] back then hard?

into the blue again
letting the days go by
water flowing underground
into the blue again

what?!
whoa!
what the hell?

one step forward, two steps back
two steps forward, three steps back
mary had a little lamb

whoa!
what?!
what the fuck?

this is our pole star
this is our dream
this is our [unintelligible word], not super [unintelligible word]
to america, to america
we reject your classic culture, your faith merit backed evolution...your bills, your fake breasts, your lip jobs, your liposuction, your no [unintelligible word]
we seek absolution
we are reformation and motion, a moving politic, a war of poetry, words as weapons
yes, a revolution
yeah
(silence for 20 seconds, then back into the riff)

whoa!!
whoa!!
look out!

BC: More bad poetry, that’s all we need, more bad poetry. I can feel it, I can feel it, I can feel it, I can feel it. Can you feel it? Can you feel it? Can you feel it? Can you feel it? See...normally this is where I swear a lot, but we’re live on the radio so I can’t swear. Plus all those people who are sitting home that couldn’t get tickets will be mad and they’ll turn off the radio ‘cause there’s too much swearing. And plus when they hear that you’re having such a good time, they’ll get upset too. So, I’ll be good, I’ll be good for a change and uh, heh heh...(laughing) you want me to be bad? Alright, if we’re gonna be bad, we have to be bad together, I see. Alright, so uh, it’s very simple. It’s like an Iron Maiden concert except it’s the Smashing Pumpkins, but um.... Even James will chant along, that’s how you know. So class...class, please repeat after me: “What the fuck is going on?” (much repeating by Billy and crowd until riff kicks back in)

what?!!
(scream)
(growl)

(song ends)

Iha: Thank you, thank you, thank you very much.
BC: Yes.
Iha: Rock on.
BC: Yes!
[encore break]
Blank Page
> Cherub Rock
BC: Thank you. God bless, god bless, thank you very much. Thank you for a great concert, thank you.
[encore break]
Iha: Thank you, thank you very much, you guys are awesome. Are you still with us, rocking? And for the radio, I must - I’m gonna ask all the people on the radio: (high pitched screaming) Are you still out there? I can’t hear you! (normal) And now, I’d like to do some quick introductions of the band here. Back on the drum stool...oh, he’s not there, heh. There he is, back on the drums, Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin. Hey hey. Yes, he rocks. Valjean Leica - my guitar tech. You don’t know him but you love him. On lead vocals and guitar, he’s in the spotlight, Mr. Billy Corgan.
BC: Finally.
Iha: [unintelligible.] He’s, uh, he was a uh, he had a promising athletic career and he turned towards rock. He was all schoolyard, he went to Juilliard for 16 years. He was also in the Joffrey Ballet, I don’t know if you know that. He is lithe, folks, in spirit and in body. And now we turn to the bass guitar. From Canada, a socialist by nature, Ms. Melissa Auf der Maur. Yes, she is rocking for the entire state of Massachusetts. And I am from the E! channel, I am Steve Kmetko. Thank you. We will play one more rock jam, we hope you like it.
Drown
Iha: Goodnight. Goodnight everybody. Thank you.
