The Late 1998 Sadlands sessions included acoustic demos for the Machina/The Machines of God album, recorded at Billy Corgan's home. The tape includes two lyrically different versions of "Blue Skies Bring Tears", one of which contains the lyrics from the arrangement of the song performed during The Arising! tour in April 1999.
