The November 30, 1993 performance is notable as the opening act, Tinker, featured future Smashing Pumpkins bassist Melissa Auf der Maur. As the story went, in the years Auf der Maur was pen pals and, to some degree, the girlfriend of Billy Corgan, Auf der Maur sent a letter to Corgan requesting that Tinker open for The Smashing Pumpkins during their next tour date in Montreal. Corgan accepted her request and this would become the largest show of Tinker's career.[1] Corgan, Auf der Maur recalled, "patted me on the back. He said, 'You're a really good bass player. You're going to be in my band one day.' It felt like a dream come true – exactly the kind of confidence boost I needed."[2]

Come and Get Your Love Intro
Iha: Kickin’ that fresh beat, mi amor. Motherfuckin’ motherfucker fuckin’ ass fuckin’ ass fucking shit fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck.
Geek U.S.A.
(BC alt last line: I fuckin’ hate the U.S.A.!)
BC: Thank you.
Iha: Do not throw another shoe on stage, I ask you please.
Quiet
BC: Listen! This is a really hard concept to grasp, but when you throw things at us, it hits us. Each one on this stage has been hit in the face with a fuckin’ shoe. Don’t throw fuckin’ shoes, please. It's not that hard, please. I'm sure you don't want the concert to end prematurely because one of us has a temper tantrum because we get hit in the face with your shoe. And that's because we're dumb Americans.
Today
Disarm
Iha: Thanks.
(Rocket feedback intro starts)
BC: This is a song about what it’s like to be an astronaut.
Rocket
Siva
BC: Hi. How are you?, I am fine, thank you.
Iha: Yah, hey there.
BC: We have a tuning problem, so...this is a wait we call a lull.
Suffer (tease - Billy plays a few chords that sound like raga music)
BC: Play some Hindu songs for you. (plays some raga style guitar) Like to thank you for coming. We’ve played, we’ve –- not to like lump your entire country in, but I think we've played Canada now about seven times and every show has been terrible and this by far is the best show we've ever done, thank you. (big crowd cheer)
Iha: Woo! Hey now, turn on those lights.
BC: Thanks, we know that sounds kinda cheesy, but it's true.
Drown
> Hummer
Cherub Rock
Soma
I Am One
(BC midsong: All I ever wanted was everything. Woo! All I ever wanted was everything. And all I ever wanted was everything and all I got was shit! ‘Cause what you want is what you’ll get and that’s nothing. No. What you want is what you’ll get and that’s nothing. Nothing can be taken from me that hasn’t already been taken. Nothing can be said about me that ain’t already been said, ah. And I want some more of that nothing. Gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme nothing! Gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme gimme nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing. Nothing. Nothing! Ahhhhhhh nothing. Nothing! Nothing! There’s nothing! There’s nothing!!!)
BC: Thank you.
Iha: Thanks a lot.
[encore break]
Bury Me
Iha: Thanks.
Spaceboy

D’arcy: Thank you very much.
Iha: Thank you, goodbye.
[encore break]
Fly by Night (tease)
Iha: That was our ode to Canada. So then this isn’t really Canada, it’s a great song.
BC: God bless Rush. Oh wait, thank god for Rush, thank god for Rush. Can anybody hear me?!
Iha: By-Tor and the Snow Dog! 2112! John Rutsey!
BC: Woo.
Silverfuck / Over the Rainbow (with Suffer tease in intro)
