The April-August 2019 Pumpkinland II sessions were for Shiny and Oh So Bright volumes 2 (CYR) and 3. Approximately 24 songs were recorded, the best from the previous months' demo sessions. Several songs originated from the Day for Night sessions.
The drum track recording sessions came first from April through May, and Billy Corgan returned for additional studio work in July and August overdubbing bass and guitar, and possibly vocals. Background vocals from Katie Cole and Sierra Swan were to follow. Cole wrote most of the backing vocal arrangements, sharing them with Corgan over email before recording sessions began.[1]
