May 11, 2013 saw The Smashing Pumpkins appearance at the Gulfport Music Festival, 2013. The schedule had to be changed and performances cancelled due to overnight storm damages on the main stage. It is rumored that Billy Corgan himself organized a new stage rig to be delivered from New Orleans.

BC: [cuts in] ...round of applause. ‘Cause I got a call about 11 o'clock saying this show ain't gonna happen, so thank god we’re all here together...in peace, in love. Impossible sexual ecstasy. Jeff, did you know...?
Jeff: Yes.
BC: Heh, did you know down here you can do anything you want?
Jeff: Yes, I did know that.
BC: There's no rules!
Jeff: Fuckin’ amazing, it’s awesome.

BC: Listen, I drove down the road here a piece, see where a lot of houses used to be. These are the tough motherfuckers that stayed, right here. Now, one last thing, I'd like to say, uh, give a little shout out to the bands that couldn't play today, I felt really bad for them. So, we’re trying to support these bands, I know a lot of them are local. New Rebel Family. I don’t know how to say...Trapper Schoepp and the Shades. Schoepp? Jason Turner Band, Wheeler Brothers, Posco Ban-Ban--Bandanna [Rosco Bandana] and Brandon Vann. So uh, we hope you support those bands and uh, we're sorry to them that they gave you the chance to play. Well, that’s the end of the show. (crowd boos)

Jeff: No, no. My--I heard Mike Byrne does though.
