Anyway, as some of you know, we start the show off with our new album, Oceania, play that first. You’re about halfway through this...journey, and then, if I’m in the mood, it is Saturday night, right?
Jeff: Think so, yeah.
BC: You know what that means. Party?
Jeff: Fuck yeah.
BC: So yes, after we finish the album, we play a few of those....

I’d like to take a moment here to introduce the band to you, over here: from southern California, Mr. Jeff Schroeder. (Jeff plays a short solo) Now, Jeff, before the show you were listening to Cinderella. That’s true. I know you like your Cinderella.
Jeff: I do, I do.
BC: You know any Cinderella?
Jeff: Kinda, yeah, I do, (trailing off) I think.
BC: What’s that?
Jeff: I-yeah, yeah, a little bit, yeah, yeah, I do.
BC: A scosh? On the drums, heh heh heh. From Portlandia, Mr. Michael Byrne. (Mike plays a two second solo) Is that all you got, Mike? C’mon, show these people something. (Mike plays a 10-second solo) That was alright, that was alright.
Nicole: That was great. That was excellent.
BC: From Massachusetts, Ludlow, Mass, Nicole Fiorentino. (Nicole makes a “whoosh” sound on the bass and laughs) Is that all you got on the bass?
Nicole: That’s all I got, I’m tired. I gotta save it for the rest of the show.
BC: Hey, you probably didn’t know this but I used to be the Smashing Pumpkins bass player, heh heh.
Nicole: No.
BC: I was, yeah. Oh, I make myself laugh! My name is William Patrick Corgan. I’m from a long line of mystics, addicts, abusers, insanity and Irish good luck.
Nicole: [unintelligible]. That’s a good combo.
BC: Now, I don’t know what you’re shouting but I don’t care. Hahaha. Is everyone in the back okay, you alright back there, you alright back there? I know you guys are a little down ‘cause your Eagles, I know your Eagles got you a little down. (crowd boos) Listen, it’s like one of those Disney films, all he has to do is tweak the big walrus mustache and something good will happen. What do you think, Jeff, of Nick Foles as a quarterback? No, he doesn’t play in Duran Duran, Nick Foles is not in Duran Duran. Ah ha ha. Yes, okay, you can, you can shout some Bears abuse at me now, it’s okay, come on. What, what was that? What are the Eagles...nine...three and what? Nine? Ten? Nine? Three and infinity? Jeff, you didn’t know this but I will be at the Bears/Packers next Sunday. I’m gonna change my name to Billy Football. (sound effect of somebody saying “Yeah right”) Ha ha, listen, seriously for 20 seconds. I’ve been doing this a long time, I’ve played all over the world. Many times. Let me tell you, this city is one of the best cities to play in in the world. Every time. Well, technically we’re not in Philadelphia, right? Camden?
Nicole: [unintelligible word].
BC: Old England town, Camden?
Nicole: Camden.
BC: Anyway, god bless you all, thank you for making, uh, making it worth it for me. I’m getting a little long in the tooth, vampire tooth, I’m a little long in the vampire tooth, but you guys make it worth me coming back here every time, thank you. Now, last thing, how many old school Smashing Pumpkins fans do we have in here right now? And, uh, how many fans do we have seeing the band for the first time? Come again, that’s our motto, come again. Mike’s got a tattoo on his back in, like, those gang script: “Come again.” And, uh, what was I saying? Oh yeah, we’re gonna play a new, new, new, new song for you. Because as you old school fans know, that’s what we do, we make new music.
Nicole: New new new new.
BC: We’re not one of those boy bands, you know. (Jeff laughs) We’re a boy/girl band.
