BC: Thank you so much, thank you. Welcome to the show, we thank you so much for coming tonight, thank you everybody. As some of you already know, we're, uh, opening the show with the new album, Oceania. We're about halfway through that journey, that inner journey. Heh! Yes, exactly, take a deep breath, and um.... And then we get around to some of those...dusties, classics? Part B. Part A of my life is part B of the show and part B of my life is part A of the show, it's a contradiction. Heh heh heh heh. So uh, okay, so this is, uh, the title track, Oceania.
Oceania

Space Oddity
> X.Y.U.

> Bullet with Butterfly Wings
BC: Thank you very much, thank you. Havin' a good time? That's what we're all about: good times. Heh heh heh. That's right, good times. Listen, thank you so much, thank you for coming tonight, thank you. I know, I know, I see 'em. We appreciate you, uh, listening to the new record. We appreciate you sticking around. I think we're one of the only bands on the planet, if not the only band right now playing their whole new record, so thank you Smashing Pumpkins fans for making that possible. How many old school fans we got here tonight? How many people seeing the band for the first time? Now, why are there more new people on Nicole's side, what is that? Has that got to do with you or...? Watch: how many people are seeing the band for the first time?
Nicole: [unintelligible].
BC: There's more people over here.
Nicole: Bringin' in the newbies, I guess.
BC: Are you seeing the band for the first time?
Nicole: (laughing) No, I really hope not.
BC: Over here: Jeff Schroeder. Ha! Over there, we see you, heh heh! We see you over there, left people. On the drums, Mr. Mike Byrne. On the bass, Nicole Fiorentino. Goin' with the flow too. My name is William Patrick Corgan. Jeff, are you excited about the election?
Jeff: What, what?
BC: The election!
Jeff: When's that?
BC: I think it's next year.
Jeff: Okay, cool.
BC: Heh heh heh! Heh heh, I see you, my friend. What are you saying: "Let's rock and roll"?
Jeff: Haha!
Nicole: He's into it.
BC: Okay, you're all cheering, right, but he's wearing a Jets jersey. (crowd boos) I believe your Jets are two and three, my friend. He is not the 12th man. (crowd cheers) Okay, thank you. It's so embarrassing, you know, when the guy who gave me a colonic earlier in the day comes to the gig, it's really awkward. It's so awkward, you know what I mean, I appreciate your service, but...uch, anyway.
Nicole: Is that a true story?
BC: Hahahahaha! I just thought that up, I'm the 12th man. Okay, so we only have a few more songs. Hi, beautiful girl waving the heart, hello. Hello. Thank you. Thank you to all you beautiful women for coming tonight, thank you. Thank you, beautiful woman. If it wasn't for beautiful women...there'd be no ugly dudes. Heh heh! Heh. She knows what I'm talkin' about, Zebra Girl, come on, Zebra Girl. Yeah, baby! Heh, oh yeah. Puget Sound style, right there.
Nicole: Where's the Byrne family? Byrne family?
BC: She's got one of those Starbucks booties.
Nicole: Where are they? The Byrne family.
BC: That's those double mocha...booties, you know? Heh. Heh. Less rock, I know. No, more rock, sorry, more rock, less talk.
Nicole: Other way around, you know.
BC: You want us to play Cherub Rock? (crowd cheers) When the dumb dude shouts "Cherub Rock", it usually makes me not wanna play Cherub Rock. That's just normally how it works, heh. 'Cause I'm thinkin', if I got through to him, that's a bad thing. We'd like to play a song now -- like to kick it down, as I used to say, kick it down for a moment. This is a song from the Teargarden project called Song for a Son, I wrote it about my father, thank you. My father, William Patrick See -- uh, William Corgan Senior, he's not -- William Dale, actually. I'm actually not a Junior. Somebody told me that, I'm not technically a Junior, so kinda bummed me out.
Nicole: Faux junior.
BC: I'm William Patrick, he's William Dale. Billy Dale.
Jeff: Little Bill.
Nicole: Aw, you're Little Bill.
BC: This one goes out to Big Bill.
A Song for a Son

> Ava Adore / Für Elise
