BC: No no. It’s about getting, heh heh, low actually. Uh, now you know what I was thinking, you don’t know this story, but um, just before we recorded Siamese Dream, I was having a little romantic thing with a girl in Houston. It’s a true story. And um, I came down here to hang out with her for a week just before we went to start recording Siamese Dream in--in Marietta, Georgia. And uh, I noticed that she had some prescription medication. And I was like, “What is this stuff called, lithium?” I didn’t know what lithium was but I found out. Heh heh, ha! So I dedicate this song to her.
Nicole: Did you--did you give that song title to Kurt?
BC: What now?
Nicole: Did you give that song title to Kurt?
BC: No, that was Nirvana. Nirvana had the song Lithium.
Nicole: (laughing) That’s why I said “did you give the song title to him?”
BC: Yeah, I told Kurt--I called Kurt and I was like, “Hey, I got a good song title for you.”
Nicole: That’s it, I knew it! I knew it.
BC: “Hey Courtney, before we get off the phone, can I talk to Kurt for a second, I got a good song title for him.” That’s not what happened. That’s not what happened. Alright.
