Tokyo Number 9 released May 12, 2017! It is the first live album and most recent release from the Frank Catalano and Jimmy Chamberlin jazz duo, chronicling eight live performances in Tokyo from the summer of 2016. It is the first of what was intended to be three live albums released through Ropeadope Records. The other two have yet to be released. The lineup included Catalano (saxophone), Chamberlin (drums), Vic Juris (guitar), Theo Hill (piano), and Stacy McMichael (bass).

From Ropeadope Records: "The raw energy of the shows and interaction between the audience is hard to describe but easy to feel. Tokyo Number 9 is not only a document of these players in top form, but of the energizing power of live performance in our lives."
