They announced the band's co-headlining autumn 2022 Spirits On Fire tour before performing "Today" and the Jane's Addiction hit "Jane Says", the latter of which was sung by Farrell.

Later that same day, Corgan, Chamberlin and Schroeder became only the second rock band in history to have their handprints imprinted in cement outside the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood (KISS was the first, in 1976). Farrell and Perkins also attended that ceremony, though James Iha did not attend either event because due to feeling unwell.
