William Patrick Corgan's Siddhartha released 8 years ago today! It is a five LP box set documenting his eight-hour ambient musical interpretation of Hermann Hesse's Siddhartha on February 28, 2014 at Madame ZuZu's. The performance was an improvisation using a Roland System-100M 182 analog modular synthesizer, similar to synths used on 2005's TheFutureEmbrace. Jeff Schroeder also made some guitar contributions.

The box set was sold exclusively through Madame ZuZu's website at $375 each. Only 500 hand-numbered copies were made, the first 250 signed by Corgan. The set also came with a custom art print by Linda Strawberry, a personal Stylophone synthesizer, and a black WPC hat.
