BC: Thank you. ... Thank y’all so very much, thank you for being here with us tonight. Thank you for sharing this, uh, benefit concert with us. So we’d like to, uh, play an old song for you now, we’d like to dedicate this song to you for being here tonight, for supporting us as always. Even though we’ve lost our minds and all that kind of stuff, thank you anyway. This one’s for you. You ready there, Tex?
Tonight, Tonight (acoustic)
BC: This, uh, next song, uh, we were gonna put on our album, then we decided it was too long. And then, we still get criticized for the album being too long, so you can imagine if this song was on it as well, it would’ve been really too long. So, this song, uh, most people never heard this song but I’d like to play it for you tonight, seems...fitting. This is called Let Me Give the World to You.

It went to the Christian Children’s Charity in the Boys and Girls Harbor and these are some people from the organization and they would like to have a word with you.
D’arcy: I wanna say something first. We are going around the country, doing this charity tour and I have to say, you know, you guys do things bigger in Texas. And, uh, that includes the charities and - and your hearts seem bigger too because these places are so well looked after and so well taken care of. It’s...it’s been happy for us to go and visit these places, like a happy thing, and um, it’s - it’s been different from everywhere else. It’s - and I just wanna thank you for your support.
Sylvia Garcia: Hello Houston, how are we doing tonight? I’m Sylvia Garcia, the city controller for the city of Houston, in behalf - behalf of the mayor, all the entire city council and all the children of Houston, I wanna declare today Smashing Pumpkin Day in the city of Houston! What a great day! What a great day! Now let’s make - let’s make some noise ‘cause we know they were in Dallas the other day, but we know the real city of Houston is the city in Texas, so let’s make some noise! Let’s make noise! Woo! Now I want you all to remember what all of this is about, they have gone or they’re going to 13 cities and every single piece, a penny that you give to the concert tonight goes to Children’s Charities. It’s about...it’s about giving back, giving back, so they’re challenge you tonight to give back to a charity of your choice that helps children and to talk about the specific children’s society that’s getting it in Houston, is Executive Soc-(stutters), Director of Children’s Charities, right here!
Lady: On behalf of the board of directors of Houston Children’s Charity and the over 40 agencies that we support in the city, I would like to personally thank D’arcy, James and Billy for this exemplary...for their exemplary act of love and compassion. My desire is that performers all over the world, throughout this country, will take notice of this level of generosity and feel compelled to follow suit...and we thank you.
Iha: Thank you ver - thank you very - thank you very much. Um, we’d like to make a big check presentation, right here right now, we’d like to present, uh, Houston Children’s Charity with $115,720, don’t go spending it all in one place. (Mike plays organ fanfare) (laughing) Thank you Mike Garson. And uh, that’s where your money went tonight and we’re really happy to give it to such a great organization. Thanks a lot. ... And now, we will get back to the rock. Here we go, let’s rock.
BC: James, wait a second. You obviously haven’t read, we don’t rock anymore.
Iha: Well, sort of.
BC: We’ve abandoned ship, we don’t believe it-
D’arcy: (overlapping) That’s - that’s what the critics say. We don’t rock. Sorry.
Iha: I ask you....
BC: Not to - I’m telling you we don’t rock anymore.
D’arcy: Uh, that’s what they say.
