Night Dreamer is an alternative rock and dream pop duo consisting of The Smashing Pumpkins guitarist Jeff Schroeder, and Wam Dingis member Mindy Song. The group released their debut EP, Treasure, on October 19, 2019. They performed a handful of shows across several countries from late 2019 through early 2020.
In June 2020, the duo collaborated with Jamie Goh to release a 5-track album of hypnosis messages called Inner Oceans.[1]
Background[edit | edit source]
Jeff Schroeder met Mindy Song through a mutual friend in 2015. They decided to convene in a Chicago studio to "see where things might go". The session was a success, and the duo relocated to their hometown of Los Angeles to record Treasure with producer Josiah Mazzasch.[2] Mazzasch is also a member of the band Light FM, as was former Smashing Pumpkins bassist Nicole Fiorentino.[3]
