September 30, 2010 was the book presentation of Chants Magnétiques, a book Billy Corgan co-wrote with Claire Fercak. The book puts poetry to an imaginary dialogue between two mythical creatures. In the years prior, Fercak released a collection of texts and poems dedicated to The Smashing Pumpkins called 'Smashing Pumpkins / Tarantula Box Set', and it is through this work that the collaboration with Corgan began.

The September 30, 2010 event featured an approximately 40 minute reading from the book by Fercak, with Corgan providing background music. Corgan then performed several songs by himself (while Fercak remained sitting next to him) and the event finished with a book signing.

The event took place at the Atout Livre bookstore in Paris. About 170 people were in attendance. The setlist saw the first performance of "In the Arms of Sleep" in 13 years (1997-12-05), and the only performance of the original song "Jesus Needs a Hit" (see video).
