Settle Down
BC: Thank you very much. Thank you so much. We had a chance to play here in St. Louis last April while we were getting ready to do our album. Who was at those concerts? Heh heh. Heh heh heh, there’s a sign that says “Pajo for President.” (stoner voice) “You know if you were president, Dave, there wouldn’t be any war, man.” But thank you very much for coming to our concert tonight, we realize there’s a lot of good distractions in the world right now but we appreciate you for, uh - we appreciate you coming to our concert. And I have to say, I, you know, when we were, uh, when we were here last, we talked about this artist that’s from here: Nelly. Nelly? And ever since we talked about him, he blew up like, unbelievable. It’s unbelievable.
Sweeney: And we still like Nelly.
BC: I’m taking responsibility for Nelly.
Sweeney: I know! I’m glad you’re not leaving him behind.
BC: That whole thing, this was my idea too but....
Don’t Let Me Down
Jesus, I
> God’s Gonna Set This World on Fire
BC: Thank you.
Heartsong
BC: Thank you very much. ... I’d like to, uh, dedicate this next song to my grandma, who’s here tonight. My grandma’s 91, she still rocks. This is a song, uh, off the forthcoming yet to be recorded, soon to be recorded, Djali Zwan album. Which, uh, will probably be released on DVD and not CD. We’re gonna film the album. You can see us making mistakes. This is a song, uh, we like very much, we hope you enjoy it, it’s called Friends as Lovers, Lovers as Friends.
Sweeney: Ow!
Friends as Lovers, Lovers as Friends
Ride a Black Swan
> Mary Star of the Sea
(BC after lyrics, before coda: Thank you very much, we are the Zwan.)
BC: Thank you!
[encore break]
Spilled Milk (w/intro)
(BC during 2nd to last drum drop-out: Zwan thanks you, we love you.)
[encore break]
BC: Thank you. I’d like to introduce the band to you. We’ve got some new faces. Some old friends. On the piano and the guitar, Mr. David Pajo. Come out of the shadows, Dave! On the guitar, Mr. Matt Sweeney. On the bass and the violin, Paz. On the drums, Mr. Jimmy Chamberlin.
Of a Broken Heart
BC: Thank you very much, goodnight.
