The Veronicas is the self-titled 2014 album by Australian duo The Veronicas. It features "Did You Miss Me (I'm a Veronica)", which Billy Corgan co-wrote and contributed guitar. It debuted and peaked at number-two on the Australian Albums Chart.
Background
Jessica Origliasso of The Veronicas met Corgan in a songwriting session in 2010.[1] They became involved romantically and "were very much in love." It is from this that the collaboration for The Veronicas album began. Origliasso told The Guardian, "[Corgan is] an incredible force to be reckoned with. Beautiful soul, beautiful guy. Just the most enigmatic soul."[2] Apparently, more than one song was written for The Veronicas, but only "Did You Miss Me (I'm A Veronica)" was chosen for the final cut.[2] Corgan and Origliasso eventually split up in 2012, but have remained friends.
