Ava Adore
(Iha begins Daphne Descends intro)
BC: Thank you, hello, hi.
Daphne Descends
Thru the Eyes of Ruby
BC: Thank you, thank you. How's everybody doing out there? (high pitched) Alright Milwaukee! (normal voice) This is our uh...heh heh heh. This is our new single, it's called P-Perfect.
Perfect (acoustic)
BC: Thank you, um...heh, heh heh heh heh heh. We'd like to dedicate this next song to all of you for coming to share tonight with us, we appreciate it very much. We appreciate you coming to spend this evening with us, it means a lot to us, so thank you very much. If you know the words to this one, uh, sing along.
Tonight, Tonight (acoustic)
> drum/percussion solo
> Zero (tease)
> Bullet with Butterfly Wings
> Shame
For Martha
(BC at 12:14: Thank you very much, we're the Smashing Pumpkins, we love you, god bless you.)
[encore break]
Iha: Thank you very much. You guys have been rockin’. So...how the hell was your Fourth of July, was it okay? I had a fine barbecue myself, so I'm glad you did too.
BC: I don't wanna be the bearer of bad news but James was just talking shit about the Packers backstage. (crowd boos)
Iha: Well, you know, da Bears, what can I say, I'm from Chicago. You know what I like? I like to have a good bratwurst, I like to wear my sportcoat and watch da Bears. I love when they beat the Packers. But I do respect the power of the Pack, of the Packers. We recorded with a fellow Wisconsin person, Butch Vig —- ya, hey there -- and uh, he taught us all there was to know about Wisconsin culture, which was...um...well it was beer and uh...and the Packers and cheese! And he said that everyone's a very nice person here, so.... And now, we will play for you a very nice song, this is 1979!
1979
BC: Could you put on the house lights for a second?
Iha: Whoa.
BC: Just wanted to say goodbye before we go into this next song. Thanks for having us and thanks for coming. Danke schoen, Germany. As many of you may know, we're uh, we’re touring on our new album Adore. You might have heard of it, I don't know. Heh heh heh, heh heh. I'm not really sure where I was going with that.
Iha: I don't know. Where are you going with that, man? Right to the spaceship?
BC: I had a whole thing worked out but it was kinda....
Iha: Heh. Word, word, word.
Transmission (abandoned almost immediately)
Transmission / Let’s Dance / Help!
