On February 22, 2014, fellow Chicago band Umphrey's McGee performed just around the corner from Jimmy Chamberlin's own gig with Frank Catalano at the Green Mill Jazz Club. He accepted an invitation to join them for one encore song, replacing drummer Kris Myers for their cover version of "Cherub Rock".
