Cat's Cradle is a music venue and nightclub located in Carrboro, North Carolina, less than a mile from the University of North Carolina. In the early 1990s it was known for hosting alternative and grunge acts such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Pearl Jam,[1] and Ween.[2]
There was a bomb threat just before The Pumpkins' August 6, 1991 show which also caused it to be cancelled.
