The March 1992 Smart Studios sessions is where "Drown" was re-recorded, following the attempt at Waterfront Studios. The second, unfinished attempt proved useless, as Jimmy Chamberlin began drinking as Billy Corgan and Butch Vig set up and adjusted the sound; by the time the band was ready to record, Chamberlin was literally falling of his stool drunk.
