"Reasons To Shine" is a by the Billy Corgan side project Starchildren. A live recording from the August 18, 1990 performance appears on SP on the Radio 1988-89 / Starchildren Live 8.18.90. It is one of four previously unreleased songs to appear on that album. Although the song was performed under the name Starchildren, it is cataloged as The Smashing Pumpkins here as it features only Corgan on guitar and Jimmy Chamberlin on bass playing to a drum machine.
