yo

Maybe I was missing a reply button on my page but I couldn't find one, lol. Thanks for the note -- I saw you had made the change in the setlists but couldn't tell how you did it. I didn't hit this tour -- figured the setlist would be similar to last fall. Did you go to Holmdel or Jones Beach? DavidB (talk) 20:21, 10 September 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Reply buttons will hopefully be back soon. I was for the tour to end before updating MediaWiki. Until I do, it's old school replies using wikitext. No worries if you can't figure it out; just do whatever is easiest.

The first show I went to was the Charlotte one with my sister. That's where I grew up, and I credit my sister for getting me into SP decades ago, so it was cool to finally see them with her! We were way back on the lawn, so got the nice view of the light show. Then here in NYC, I was in the pit (which was flooded I might add!) at Jones Beach. Both were amazing shows and gave me different vantage points, so no regrets. Hate you missed them! MusikAnimal talk 23:57, 11 September 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Adding Images

I have some live images, and maybe even a video clip or two, lying around my phone gallery for a couple of shows. Is there an easy way to add them to the respective show pages? Not familiar with how to get that done. --Squishedmargarine (talk) 21:59, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hey Squishedmargarine! Since you have a Wikimedia account, I'd recommend uploading directly to Wikimedia Commons. Then the files will become available here (and thousands of other wikis!). I see you got in a little trouble over at commons:User talk:Squishedargarine. That's because you tried to upload an image you did not own (an album cover). Any image you took band at live shows is safe to upload there, so don't worry about that :)

After it's uploaded, you can then refer to SPCodex:Donating photos to SPCodex#Adding photos to articles on how to add them to articles. Note that page recommend folks use Flickr for uploading, but that's only because it's easier for non-Wikimedians, as I can copy those files easily to Wikimedia Commons. In your case, either use Commons directly, or use Special:UploadWizard or Special:Upload if you'd prefer to upload directly here. Videos are best put on YouTube, however, so as to save storage costs for us. Then you can embed the video using the {{youtube}} template. Hope this helps and thanks as always for contributing!
