Lost Highway is the soundtrack album for the 1997 David Lynch film of the same name. It was produced by Trent Reznor (Nine Inch Nails), and includes The Smashing Pumpkins song, "Eye", though this song specifically was not produced by Reznor. The album reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and reached gold status in the United States.

Songwriter Billy Corgan originally submitted "Tear" as a contribution to the soundtrack, but Lynch, who later would call Corgan a "magical musician",[1] rejected it. Corgan quickly finished off "Eye" and Lynch loved it, using it in a nightclub scene in the film.[2]
