BC: Thank you very much, thank you. Haha. How you feelin’, you alright? Did you hear about the rain? What rain? No fuckin’ rain! More like a reign of power, a reign of power. Thank you very much, Manila, we’re very happy to be with you. Jeff.... There...normally I would tell you these things backstage but there’s something I just wanna say in front of everybody right here. Just man to man. Do you realize...that the men in this country are the luckiest men in the world?
Jeff: Yes, that’s very true, that is very true.
BC: Do you know why the men in this country are the luckiest men in the world?
Jeff: No, I don’t, please enlighten me.
BC: Because they get to hang out with the most beautiful women in the world. (sound effect of Jeff saying “Boi-yoing-yoing”) My god. My god. Unbelievable. (sound effect of Jeff saying “Boi-yoing-yoing”) You men are so lucky! They treat you right here. Right?
Jeff: Heh, absolutely.
BC: We hope you’re having a good time. Who here is a real old school Smashing Pumpkins fan? Who here was born after 1987? Hahaha. Hahaha. Hahahahaha. Haha. Very good, very good. Well, for you tried, true Smashing Pumpkins fans, you might recognize this song. You know I wrote this song about the beautiful women of the Philippines. And that is why the song is so long. Because only a long song could capture the beautiful of the women of the Philippines. So ladies, this one’s for you. No, you don’t count, you’re in the band. You don’t count, you’re in the band.
Nicole: I’m also not from the Philippines.
BC: You gotta play the song, you can’t be thinking “This song’s for me” and then get all lost in this thing.
Nicole: It’s too late, it’s too late. It’s already for me.
BC: Ladies and gentlemen, Nicole Fiorentino. As beautiful as the women of the Philippines are, you are just as beautiful. But you’re just a little bit smarter than they are. Because....
Nicole: [unintelligible].
BC: Because you’re in the Smashing Pumpkins. That makes you really smart.
Nicole: No, their fans are awesome. They’re even smarter.
BC: Hahaha. This is normally where I get in trouble on Youtube. Haha.
Nicole: You’re gonna [unintelligible].
BC: Okay, so ladies, gentlemen, fans, citizens, angry Manny Pacquiao cousins.... That’s Manny Pacquiao’s angry cousin over there, he keeps giving me the finger. Me and you, buddy, 15 rounds. I know, I know, he’s a bad ass, I know. He fuckin’ swam here through the flood and now he’s gonna kick my ass after the show. This is a song called Soot and Stars.
Soot and Stars
BC: Oh, you didn’t like that song, okay. I guess we won’t play the special song we were gonna play. That’s too bad. I was really looking forward to playing Luna but.... I’m all sad now.

BC: Thank you very much, thank you. Now, hold on one second, hold on. On a normal night, that would be the end of the show. But this is not a normal night. We’d like to play a few songs for you that we haven’t been playing. To honor those of you who made the effort to get here tonight, I know some of you came from very far away. So for those of you that are here and those of you that couldn’t make it here, we thank you so very much, thank you. I’m lucky I get to play with Jeff, Mike and Nicole. The lord has blessed me with a good life. I have some of the greatest fans in the world. That was a compliment to you, you’re supposed to cheer louder for that one. There you go! Okay, so if you’re tired and you want to go home, now is the time to go home. And the rest of us are just gonna stay here and party for a while. (laughing) Let’s get this party started.
