Perfect
BC: Thank you very much, thank you. That was, uh, from our new album Adore, I don’t know if you’ve heard it, it’s, uh, it just came out. How’s everybody doing up there, huh? Sound alright? Loud enough? No, not loud enough? Louder? Turn it up, James. So we’d like to dedicate this song to all of you for being with us here tonight, we appreciate you coming. Pearl Jam will be on next, thank you.
Tonight, Tonight (acoustic)
Once Upon a Time (Billy solo acoustic)
BC: Thank you so much. We’d now like to do an old song, this was written way back in 1995, that was a long time ago.
Stumbleine
(BC alt lyrics at end: Come around Ruby, I could never sleep alone. My mommy’s in the manger on the telephone. She’s picking us up at six, at the mall. That’s the end of the song, there’s no more words and that’s all.)
> drum/percussion solo
> Bullet with Butterfly Wings
> Shame
For Martha
(BC at 11:40: Thanks a lot. We’re the Smashing Pumpkins. God bless you, thank you.)
[encore break]
Iha: Thank you very much! Thank you very much. These are, uh, wonderful promotional items but I am sick of seeing these balloons tonight.
BC: I’m glad, I’m glad you believe in safe sex.
Iha: So, uh, you guys have been really great tonight and, uh, we’d like to show you where your money has gone tonight, which has gone to a great charity, the, uh... It’s called the Cramp Community Reading Center and it’s a really nice place.
Lady: Hello, how are you today? Did you enjoy it ‘cause I did! My name is Noosa Gonzalez and I’m one of the, uh, mayor’s delegates to Philadelphia’s Promise and we want to publicly thank you, the Smashing Pumpkins, for making this promise a reality. We owe you one big ol’ Liberty Bell and you will be receiving it on behalf of Philadelphia, thank you very much.
Iha: I want the original Liberty Bell.
Man: I’m from the school district of Philadelphia. Good music, good citizenship. We want to thank the Smashing Pumpkins for making the Cramp Community Reading Center.... I hope you understand how generous these people are. They are donating a lot of money. They are donating a lot of money to help kids read in the Kensington section of Philadelphia in a reading center that was started a few years ago. It is a great example I hope other people will follow and we thank you very much.
BC: And now...the check presentation. We, the Smashing Pumpkins, present Cramp Community Reading Center a check for 124,160 dollars.
Man: Thank you.
Iha: You da man. So as you can see, very nice charity. Don’t go spending the money all in one place. And yes, ladies and gentlemen, we will get back to matters at hand, which is...ROCK!

(BC at 16:25: The aliens won’t be satisfied until they steal your soul. It’s obvious that the aliens are already programming cable TV.)
