Howie Weinberg is an American mastering engineer who has worked on nearly every Smashing Pumpkins album, as well as Zwan and Billy Corgan's debut solo album.
In addition to Pumpkins-related acts, Weinberg has worked with dozens of notable artists since he was first hired at Masterdisk in New York City in 1979,[1] including Nirvana's Nevermind, Beastie Boys' Licensed to Ill, and Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger. He has over 200 Gold and Platinum records to his name.[2] He has been awarded no less than 16 Grammys, 32 Grammy nominations, as well as TEC Awards, Juno Awards, and a Mercury Prize.[3]
