Ava Corgan is the niece of Billy Corgan. Since 2008, when the band performs in the Fort Lauderdale, Florida area, she has occasionally joined them to co-sing a song or two. One notable performance came on July 20, 2010 when she sang "Love Is the Sweetest Thing" to Billy Corgan playing the ukulele.
Judging by her age at the 2010 show, Ava Corgan was probably born around the time when "Ava Adore" was released, but Corgan explained in the liner notes of the 2014 Adore reissue that the song was "ostensibly written about some objectified person, there also is no 'Ava' that I can configure."
