William Corgan Sr. is a blues guitarist and father to Billy Corgan. In 1988, his River North home studio is where the first two Smashing Pumpkins studio sessions took place. He played the guitar solo in "The Last Song" from the "Thirty-Three" single in 1996, and has performed alongside Corgan at several shows since 1999. He is also credited as an illustrator for the 2011 reissue of Siamese Dream.[1]
“ | My father was my hero … He later told me that when he heard Siamese Dream, he heard a part of me that he didn't even know existed … ever since then he's been a really big fan and a big supporter. I think anybody can understand that to make your father proud and to have your father be one of your admirers, it's like one of the greatest things in life. | ” |
